Mitre return to league action against Liver Vaults

img_0096After a week off, Ship and Mitre B prepare to welcome Liver Vaults in the Liverpool Open Darts League on Monday night.

Mitre come into the game off the back of three straight victories after a run of 11 straight defeats.

Liver Vaults started the season really well, but when Ship and Mitre B beat them in the reverse fixture, they went on a run that has seen their title hopes all but disappear.

They are currently in 6th position in the Liverpool Open Darts League and come into the game off the back of a 7-2 defeat at home to Gateway.

While Mitre will be fresh after their 6-3 derby victory over Ship and Mitre A and currently lie in 13th position in the Liverpool Open Darts League.

Captain Peter Mylchreest said in his captain’s corner this week that he was “confident, should we get a full team, that we can give anyone a run for their money.”

This will be their last game at the Ship and Mitre for three weeks as next week, Ged Lofthouse and Mylchreest take centre stage in the pairs tournament and their game will be played at the Claremont, Anfield and then the week after, they travel to Vauxhall to take on The Glasshouse.

They will then host the Claremont at the Ship and Mitre on March 6.

As ever, if you cannot make it to the game, we will be doing a live feed of the game on Twitter, you can follow us @ShipMitreB
