The Claremont continue to power on in the Liverpool Open Darts League with another big win as they won 8-1 in Old Swan at the Masons.
Gateway, the Claremont’s closest challengers, remain four points behind the Anfield pub after picking up a 7-2 away to the Liver Vaults. The Bootle pub also have a game in hand.
As do the Newstead A, who maintained their title push and remain two points behind Gateway with a 7-2 win at home to the Glasshouse, who are struggling close to the bottom of the table.
The Peg Legs picked up a much needed win to achieve their goal of a top four finish. They won 5-4 at Huyton pub the Oak Tree, who are also competing for that position.
Stockbridge Village pub the Village Inn’s rise up the table continued with another win as they came through a tight game, winning 5-4 at home to another one of the teams around them, the Arkles.
In another close game between two mid-table teams, Melbourne beat Queen of Martyrs 5-4 in another game at Old Swan pub, the Masons.
And in the night’s bottom of the table clash, O.D.V.A. picked up a much needed win as they won 5-4 in a nail-biting clash against the bottom and winless side Newstead B.
