In the first game Hywel obviously gave his opponent too much of a start. I think the game he played once he got off was good enough to win but you can’t give anyone that much of a start and expect to win.
Ged was a bit unlucky, he played a great game right down to leaving a double. Two nil down with only seven players doesn’t leave any wriggle room.
I think the first two games could have gone either way. Bobby will always win more than he loses. On another day we might have been winning 3-1. That’s darts.
At this point, given our league position, there is no real point in winning games other than for a little bit a pride. Our only target now is to catch the A team!
I think being at home isn’t much of an advantage. Throwing second is always a disadvantage. It all comes down to whether individuals throw anything like they can.
