Ship and Mitre B will be aiming to end a run of 11 games without a win in the Liverpool Open Darts League when they welcome Newstead B to the Ship and Mitre.
The Smithdown Road pub’s B team are currently bottom of the league having lost all of their games thus far this season.
They played each other in the second week of the season and the boys from Dale Street won that one 6-3, as they went on a run of three wins in six and they have turned out to be their only wins this season.
The home team will be coming into the game off the back of an 8-1 defeat in Stockbridge Village at the Village Inn last week while the visitors come in off the back of a 7-2 home defeat to Arkles.
Depending on other results, Ship and Mitre B could end up level on points with O.D.V.A and the Glasshouse, who travel to Newstead A and host Oak Tree respectively.
Mitre will also be hoping to end one of the worst runs in the clubs history, which really came to a head last week at the Village Inn.
While the Newstead B also need a win as the possibility of a winless season gets greater by each passing game.
It could well be a nervy affair, but both teams desperately need a win from somewhere.
