Claremont kept their four point lead at the top of the Liverpool Open Darts League with a 7-2 win at ninth placed Queen of Martrys.

The Gateway are keeping the pace with the Anfield pub after beating the leagues bottom side Newstead B by the same scoreline.

Peg Legs remain level on points with Gateway as they beat the struggling Vauxhall pub  The Glasshouse by the same scoreline.

Newstead A remain fourth but they had to come from 4-0 down to beat mid table side The Village Inn.

The Oak Tree also remain four points off the top four after a comfortable 6-3 victory over Liver Vaults.

Masons put some distance between themselves and the teams at the bottom after a priceless victory over one of their rivals O.D.V.A.

And the Melbourne, who are playing out of Old Swan pub the Masons Arms these days, picked up another win to remain in mid table as they beat Ship and Mitre A 5-4 in a very close encounter.
