Mylchreest unhappy with his role in Gateway defeat

Captain Peter Mylchreest was unhappy with the role he played in his side’s 7-2 defeat to Gateway.

He was defeated after a 12 dart leg from Steve Magee that was finished with a 125 out on the bulls eye.

He was left on 68 himself and was confident he would have taken it out had Magee missed the 125.

“The way I was practicing, I knew I would have taken out that 68, but what can you do against that?”

It was obvious Mylchreest was pondering on that game and wondered if he had of taken out that 68, whether we could have been talking about a Ship and Mitre win.

One thing is for certain, you cannot doubt the talent of the Gateway team, they are second
