Around the league: 14/11/16

Claremont has gone four points clear at the top of the Liverpool Open Darts League after thrashing the Glasshouse 7-2.

Gateway has leapt frogged Newstead “A” in the league to go in second after they have beat Arkles 7-2.

Holding ground

While Newstead “A” beat Ship and Mitre “B” 6-3, but they dropped down to third place in the league table.

This is after Newstead “A” lost ground them after falling to a 6-3 defeat at home to Gateway, another heavyweight clash at the top of the league.

Queen of Martyrs is in eighth on 14 points after their win over the Liver Vaults in a close victory 5-4.

Melbourne was on a winning streak but failed to continue this when Village Inn claimed a close victory 5-4, a closer game than they both expected.

Peg Legs have dropped down the league to fourth, even after a convincing win over Ship and Mitre “A”

Newstead “B” are still bottom of the league after a loss against Masons, with no points on the board.
