Peter Mylchreest unhappy with Masons defeat

Ship and Mitre captain Peter Mylchreest was left reeling after he lost his sides’ tiebreaker against Masons last night.

Mylchreest missed six match darts to win the game and was eventually punished by Carl Blackman.

He said after the game: “It wasn’t unlucky. I was unlucky with missing the 110 checkout on D16 but missing three darts at D16 and at three at D8, that’s bad.”

As a result, Mitre have now lost seven games in a row and are edging closer to the bottom of the Liverpool Open Darts League.

It is five a side action next week against Masons again, but then the week after they are back at their Dale Street home the week after to take on top-of-the-league Newsted “A”
