Around the League: 26/10/2016

Claremont remain top of the Liverpool Open Darts League after a convincing 8-1 victory over Ship and Mitre “A”. They also remain with just one defeat all season so far.

Newstead “A” remain in hot pursuit after winning a last game decider at Arkles, which means the Anfield pub have lost ground on the chasing pack.

Gateway and Liver Vaults also came through last leg deciders to keep up their pursuit of the top teams. Both are four points behind Claremont and two behind Newstead “A”.

Peg Legs are now on the same amount of points as Gateway and Liver Vaults after a 6-3 victory over the Village Inn in Whiston.

Oak Tree also sent out a huge statement of intent with a 9-0 whitewash of Newstead “B”, who remain rooted to the bottom of the league and without a victory all season.

Queen of Martyrs’ recent good run also continued with a 6-3 victory over O.D.V.A and they continue to rise up the rankings.
